It doesn't. The tear duct drains into the nose.

Safe diving,

Neil

neil is absolutely right.tear duct drains tears into the nose, thus can force air up the duct. Now my time at med sch was a long time ago,the major problem would be if the fracture was displaced trapping muscle or nerve, but if your eye movements are ok should be fine. however what you would not want is compressed air in your orbit, thus you would have to wait(not too long)for it to heal. There are other sinuses that can do this, and another that leads to the skull base. However,I am sure that all you would need is for the Surgeon to tell you that it has healed, with no damage etc,and leave it a few more weeks.I am not implying that these other sinuses are involved, lol.

Oh Surgeons are not too bright, but dont tell them that as they get upset, but usually they do know what they are doing, just let them know that you are a diver, and let them get on with it.
And good luck
