pain is a state of mind, if you think it hurts it will. Get in the sea and it will heal better.

I cut my thumb quite badly a few years ago on swanage pier and dived about 10 minutes later, came back out after an hour and it had sarted to heal already, saltwater is magic stuff.

Oh yeah? Try a dental compression barotrauma under a temporary filling going to 30m before it equalises, then the corresponding expansion barotrauma on the way back up. Complete and utter bastard that was.
