Front Tooth Pulled Out!
Yesterday I had a front tooth extracted and a partial denture fitted.

2 Questions:

1) Do I need to wait before getting back in the water and if so how long?
2) Do I take it out when I get in the water?

1) Wait until it has healed! Don't want to see a gum bend thread!

2) Likelyhood of choking on the denture or it working loose?

Dive whenever you want. No problem at all. Take out denture, it is a risk of airway obstruction. The salt water will do the socket the world of good as well.

A salt water mouthwash is 'a good thing' the day after an extraction-----a fresh water puddle needs more research :-)

HWMBO has a front tooth on a plate but he takes it out for diving as he finds it more comfy as well as safer
