runners: nikeplus february challenge
anyone into nikeplus fancy a distance challenge over the month of Feb. I'll set it up and post the results up at the end of the month.

Yeah I would be up for it if we can get a few people interested, need to fix my nike plus though the transmitter in the shoe ran out of battery!

I'm running heaps atm - about 30- 35k a week

but not sure how the Nikeplus thing works?

Can anyone join in or do you have to sign up?

its a sensor system that works with nike shoes and ipods and it tracks how far you have run you then attatch it to your computer and upload the data to the nike+ website. The sensor cost me about $30 when I was in America 2 years ago not sure how much they are here and registering with the nike site is free.
If your running loads already you've got me worried think I will be in last place need to blow the cobwebs off my shoes and get out there, a bit of friendly competition is always a good motivator , Tom

What kind of distance are we talking?
I have a NikePlus thingy and used to run decent distances but have only been running once in the last 3 months
I could probably do with an incentive!

I thought thats what is was.

I don't have a sensor and my ipod has broken

So thats me out the running then

Unless there is a way of joining in the fun without having to sign up?

theres certainly about three or 4 people interestered.

do you fancy a distance challenge (who can run the most in a month), or a time challenge (who can run a set distance the fastest?)
