DiveLife - Scuba diving equipment from all the UK's major diving manufacturers has the stick on type in stock or did ,

also they can send your mask of and have lenses fixed in side them ,

some place in Sheffield they have a www site put i dont have a link

cost about 50/70 pounds for the fixed ,

Have you tried the manufacturer directly for them, or maybe an optician might be able top advice?

Got some a couple of months ago from godive at Derby and maybe I was just lucky but got a huge logbook included with my order FOC. I haven't got around to sticking them in the mask yet but from all I read on the bulletin boards its improtant to follow the instructions exactly. Aparently some people just stick a lens in one side for reading instruments and then if they lose it in the wash so to speak they have a spare. When I get around to it I will stick lens in both sides as I bought a couple of sets. Delivery was quite prompt and they have various strengths. Hope that helps.

L&G Optical.

My business occasionally gets customers own prescription lens fitted to their safety glasses for shooting.

Whilst collecting the lenses the other day I noticed they actually sold direct to the public. Their price for lenses for my glasses was half that quoted by my optician.

I was driving a new hire car that day and after leaving their office after collecting some safety glasses I spent a minute trying to get into a BMW before realising my VW was in the next row of cars! Well, it was the same colour with the same style wheels.

I've seen the stick on type in the shop at Capernwray. They're pretty cheap so you'll have not lost much if they're crap.

Personally I always use contact lenses so couldn't comment but a mate that used to use lenses fixed into his mask recently switched to contact lenses as it allows him to buy a new mask or use someone elses spare without massive cost or lack of sight.

If you go for the stick on ones, which I use as well, glue them in with superglue. They come loose after time and if you do a mask removal & replace, they may not be there when you put the mask back on LOL
