No offence but the best place to go for advice is your GP, they are the experts, plus they'll have all your personal history to be able to prescribe the best and most suitable treatment. I wouldn't trust a buffoon on the internet like myself for medical diagnoses or subsequent treatment.

Take two Brufen and wrap a tubigrip around yourself you'll be fine.

Alternatively go back to the doc and tell him you think you are having a relapse and get checked out properly. Otherwise you might take some really bone advice and find yourself with Pneumonia. Seek expert help.

You had pains in your chest and didn't call for advice?
That's what my father in law did.
(Which was a pity, because I quite liked the guy).

If you don't want to call the out of hours doctor NHS Direct is an 0845 so it's local call charges. Darn it they're even on the web. They can usually tell you if it's: 'sleep it off and call back if it gets worse', 'see the doctor at your convenience', 'see the doctor tomorrow' or 'we are sending an ambulance'.

call NHS direct NOW or if you really want to wait longer call your GP first thing in the morning

You had the apropriate treatment but obviously need to see your Dr again.

Chest pain should never be ignored. I can't advise you strongly enough to seek a medical opinion.

For goodness sake. How silly can people be.

This is a diving forum,a nd whilst there may be one or two medical people here, we are not the ones to ask for advice about chest pains/pleurisy and other illnesses.

Everyone has said it, and I am sure that you know exactly what the sensible thing to do is but get off your arse and go see the doctor.

Ok mate
You asked to be my valentine so .......................

Go to the doctors. I know, I know ........... but rest assured we will only think good of you. If you don't go I'll call Copperband and drive him mad. Then he'll drive you mad and make you go
I reckon the threat should be enough

Be well or you'll never get to dive with me

Daz mate, as pointed out (some politely, some less so) this isn't the place to ask about your condition. Get on the phone and make yourself an appointment with your GP pronto.
