Recommendation: Dr Mark Downes

If you need a diving medical, and are in the surrey/sussex area, then I can thoroughly recommend Dr Mark Downes in Worcester Park. I went for an HSE medical last night, and quite enjoyed the experience. Mark was happy to discuss each test in terms of what he was looking for, what he was watching out for, and how it related to diving. Rather than the normal "just passing through" medical, this gave me a really ghood understanding of the reasoning behind each element of the examination, which I found really interesting and enlightening. He's also a fanatic diver himself, his arctics were still drying from a week's ice diving, and the genuine interest in diving defintiely helps matters.

And the bottom line ..£75.00. Well worth it in my book. He's on the list of approved examiners for the HSE so easy to find.
