Travel sickness pills increase the chance of DCI

If you're Captain Chunder, make sure when you buy over the counter sickness remedies they don't have the active ingredient Hyacine.

Apparently it is a contributing factor in cases of DCI.

From the pot doctor in Oban.

Boots own brand has it, apparently Stugeron doesn't.

Blimey.. that's a revelation!

I have taken Stugeron since my second day on a yacht about 20 something years ago.

Not taking anythign might also be a contributing factor, as puking dehydrates

You mean hyoscine. It's in Kwells and Boots own, but not in Stugeron, but then Stugeron doesn't work for me.

Wouldn't have thought the pot doctor from Oban has got a huge sample size to justify this.

I use all three but never had a DCI problem with them, perhaps because I tend to puke them up though?

A quick bit of searching suggests that Hyoscine is also known as Scopolamine so if you want to avoid it, you need to avoid that too.
