| Travel sickness pills increase the chance of DCI If you're Captain Chunder, make sure when you buy over the counter sickness remedies they don't have the active ingredient Hyacine. Apparently it is a contributing factor in cases of DCI.

| Blimey.. that's a revelation! I have taken Stugeron since my second day on a yacht about 20 something years ago. Not taking anythign might also be a contributing factor, as puking dehydrates

| A quick bit of searching suggests that Hyoscine is also known as Scopolamine so if you want to avoid it, you need to avoid that too.
