This calls for a cunning plan.
Nothing to stop you from just going out running, I bet there are plenty on here who run without all the electronic monitoring.

One day I'll bother to get Nike+, just doesn't work for me as stuff like Garmin Forerunner series are better pooters for training.

i would take the pi$$ and simply post the weekly mileage up here but i don't think i'm that mean.......

Oh well, in the interest of fairness, I wont do any runs until everyones got their thingy from Nike..no don't thank me, I don't mind staying indoors in the warm, it's a sacrifice I am willing to make, all the interest of fairness of course...

Did a nice 12km loop walk up pen-y-fan in afternoon then to the gym for a 18.5 minute 5km, 20 mins cross trainer, 2km row (so 700 calories burnt in gym and whatever pen-y-fan was).

    Im tired now.

Ooo.. Ooo.. I might be able to start in a day or two.. 'A Parcel has arrived for you at home' was the message I recieved this morning. So I'm either going to be running plugged into a nice black (of course) Ipod Nano - or a box of 30 Wideband Rochester sheaths..

I did Pen-y-fan on new years day from the carpark on one side over to brecon area (our cottage) wanted to run it but from our side it was freezing fog and didn't know it well enough to give it a go in those conditions. Lovely walk and great views from the top over the fog, gutted couldn't see any more.

Its lethal there at the moment - been so cold for so long its like trying to climb a glacier.

Took some photos yesterday while walking it. Quite scenic.

Running club in an hour, first one back of the new year. May have to cancel it though as all the pavements are like skating rinks so not sure we can safely run anywhere. Currently -5c (dropped to -9 last night) so im going to get abusive comments from passers by due to my shorts and t-shirt again.
