Do you feel nauseous because you feel like your head isn't right that's probably something different. No idea on that one. I call bend

I know what you mean about the neck seal, but it can't be that alone (as you say) and I've never had an issue at vobster. A bend would sound a bit more interesting on the trip report

I thought Stugeron can make you drowsy?

Never did me any harm. Certainly helped with occasional sea sickness if it was a bit bumpy.

I know many people who have tried stugeron and all have struggled. However, now use Boots travel calm which has been brilliant.

Going back to the sudafed suggestion, I was told you couldn't use it if diving with Nitrox.

I used to use Stugeron, but it's slow to start working & if I take two it makes me sleepy.

Some time ago on a liveaboard I was given Dramamine and I've never looked back. Unfortunately it's not available in the UK, so I buy it when I'm in the States or get someone else to get it for me.

It really works well for me and it starts acting in about 20 mins or so, so when I forget its not too late as I step aboard the boat. Still makes me a bit drowsy but it lasts all day & I've never had any diving related problem with it.

From the way I have read this thread, the OP is not suffering from seasickness. The problem is on ascents.... Why are people advising motion sickness tablets ??
A bad day diving is better than a good day at work..

The issue is at the shallow stop (6m), at sea only (I was talking with Jack about this on Sunday).

    Ascents are fine.

Stops in still (quarry) water are fine.

Stops in the sea where there is some swell is where it starts, hence the possiblity of motion causing the problem.
