Drager Try Dive

I did a try dive on a Drager Dolphin the other day, it was first try dive on a RB and I found it a little awkward.

The breathing was a little difficult as you had to work to breathe the expelled air was the hardest and if you pushed ut hard you could feel the counter lung expanding into your back. That felt strange.

Moving your head to look around was also difficult because of the hoses being a little in-flexable. Also just gripping it with your mouth was an effort.

Bouyancy was different but I had expected that and got to grips with it quite quickly.

I haven't been put off RBs and will try an YBOD next. I did the Drager cos there was one for sale which didn't seem bad but I don't think that is was for me as I want deeper and extended bottom times.

I know that with all new kit it takes a little ajustment, I suppose that I was expecting too much.

"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I watched C-beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser gate. All those moments will be lost in time, like tears in rain."

Time to dive.
