I believe there was a discussion around it on Rebreather World - will try and pick up the link for you.

I've put sensors in the head of the scrubber. I had a CC converted Ray scrubber, there is room for 2 R17/R22 sensors, however there isn't a lot of space in the lid for fitting cable glands, or more exactly, for fitting the retaining nut on the back of the gland. I never had any bother with condensation.

The Draeger sensor position is upside down in the bottom of the scrubber, this just sounds sooooo bad.

Had hoped to fit 3 R22 sensors - was planning on a few extra mm by shifting the 'sorb retainer mesh plate to the other side of the retainer ring in the scrubber tube(fits very snugly and won't move)

I did a nice conversion for a Ray once upon a time, you should be able to fit two cells in there nicely. For MCCR that will do OK. Otherwise, have you seen Narked@90's D3 cel holder? Sweet.

Extend the scrubber by 4" (100mm) to get a good run time. Fit a Drager ADV in the bottom P port and Bob is thy mothers brother.
I think I have the CAD drawings kicking about for the conversion if anyone wants them.

That's what I did, though I stuck with the standard length. Made a nice little sidemount rebreather, I might resurrect it as a bail out system. Draeger stuff is well made, I got a scrubber from another commercial RB, cost 4 times as much and it was a piece of crap.

Would love to take a peek at the CAD drawings. I'm currently side mounting 2 5litre cylinders with TEMA lockable quick disconnect fittings. 1 driving the breather and 1 for bail out. Got lots more ideas to try out. Thanks for the input so far.
