Question Drager Dolphin Dragersorb or Sofnolime

Ive just completed my SCR course & have bought a Dolphin, On the course we was told that dragersorb was what the manual sugests for the scrubber, & by no means put anything else in the scrubber. I have herd other people sugest that you can put Sofnolime or other scrubbers in it. Is this correct & if so what is the best value & has the best life.

Many thanks
Dave

From my point of view (and a few others), the best performing lime is spherasorb. Others may not agree . You can order from them (not on line) cheque only. I use it in my converted Dolphin.

I've never tried it but the shape of it is supposed to allow an easier breathe than lumpier limes. You pay the price though, because the density of lime in the scrubber is less then the scrubber endurance is less.

Intersurgical do sample packs if you ask.
