Drager/DIN adaptor

[also placed on kit-misc. page]

This may have been covered before, but the adaptor for turning the Drager fitting into a male DIN fitting is available from Undersea Ltd, Verwood, Dorset, UK. Phone 01202-822025. Part number 1073.

I got mine via Stoney at £22.63. If I was ripped off PLEASE don't tell me.

Martin at www.tecme.de does a kit to convert the Drager Dolphin 1st stage to DIN - much neater, no adapters, therefore fewer potential failure points.
If you want to convert the Ray 1st stage the 200bar DIN fittings from the Cressi XS2 1st stage fit straight in.

Don't know about the newer style of Dolphin 1st stage but it certainly doesn't fit the original 1st stage.

The adaptor or the Cressi conversion?

On the Cressi conversion, can you up the IP to 16.whatever bar?

The conversion. This is pressure rated on the handwheel and is designed to handle up to 200 bar from the cylinder. The governing factors for setting IP at 16 bar will be the 1st stage design, mainly HP seat, and the pressure rating on the LP hoses.
