Drager Dolphin and 10L tank combo.

I dived the Dolph on the 10L yesterday and the tank was sitting rather to the right. Can you get longer hoses for the Dolph, or will the cylinder sit square with the H valve fitted to the 10L?

The H valve helps.
I don't have a problem with the hose run.
They are tight but appear OK.

Dolphin with a 10l and a H is standard config for BSAC and all sits nice then.

I'm surprised at that, I would have thought that BSAC would have wanted the unit kept standard. Any particular reasons why?

Hi David

Bob Howell who was a homebuilder active in BSAC introduced a lot of mods for the dolphin to make it more practical for uk diving in the early days, mainly the 10 litre & h valve & also some nifty manifolds to improve the hose routing & plug in offboards (Bob's bits) the original oc/scc dsv. I beleive he used to sell the parts & somehow got into trouble with the tax man for it which is a great shame. My instructor was an early disciple of Bob so all the above is 2nd hand.

Mike
