Question Hot news

Hot off the press, this anouncement has just been emailed to Drager dealers.....

"After careful consideration, Aqua Lung International has made a decision to not renew its distribution agreement with Dräger at the end of calendar year 2007. It is the intention of Apeks to continue to do the best job possible supplying product, accessories and spares through to Dec. 31, 2007.

It is our understanding that Drager will not be pursuing any new avenues of distribution thereby retiring their current product offering to the recreational diving community."

Make of it what you will but it looks like this might be the final nail in the coffin for Drager rebreathers !!!!!!!!

At least the Ce marking on the Dolphin is not questionable unlike the Submatix - submatix EC approval organisation - Rebreather World Forums

Hmm,

Seems like a character assasination on Submatix from guys supplying non CE units. Rather than getting their units up to spec it seems it's easier to rubbish the competition for doing things legaly.

Anyway Drager have their own internal department that does their CE approval in house. Is this better than using an independant government office like Submatix have?

Think I rather like the independant view myself!
