Just a thought. Surely it would be way cheaper for a couple of guys on breathers to do that sort of thing?

Yes, but they still need to fill in the paperwork!!

Andy has volunteered to get people together to lift the boards that people don't bring up. We'd like it if the deep ironers could work together to get yours up on bags. Andy will be looking for volunteers - i think he will do it by PM, rather than yet another list on YD.

Well if we are ironing at 75 then we will be deco'ing up via the middle and shallows so can send everything up if we have enough lift bags and gas !!

why not drop a 3 or 7ltr and lift bag with each bundle of irons and we can just pop the bag 1/2hr or more after everyone has got out

Thats coz we are useless and haven't done the paperwork (or forgot to send the cheque !)

Ash - who is 'we'?
the 75m area has a lack of divers (i.e. none), therefore a lack of photoraphers, so no thought has been appliedto 75m ironers bringing up their boards, because there aren't any.

Probably because that would add further complication to what is already a complicated organisational nightmare. Plus the potential that you miss a few sets and the tanks are there for days, plus someone's got to get it down there. Far easier that each team just ties on a DSMB and the surface team recovers boards as required - this moves all of the complicated stuff to the surface, and reduces the chances of someone getting lifted by a badly behaved board

I know.. how rugsy-tugsy are we!

I'll be going in during the board setting up period in the morning so I have time to "fiddle" and a get reasonable setting on the camera.. especially as i'm in the dark and silty zone...

The original list is full of people who haven't registered!

At the moment, there are 10 in the 45m area. If you think there is room for you and Dave, i will put you two there as well (when I get the list with you two on it!!), but no more than that, or the photographer will have too difficult a job.
