When the idea of a raffle came upas part of the Extreme Ironing event, I contacted lots of diving suppliers to see if they could donate something.
Consequently, we have some excellent prizes.
O'Three really came good for us (thank, guys). They have offered an Ri 2/100 off the peg drysuit. These retail at around £900 and are absolutely superb suits.
As it is such a highly personal and important peice of diving equipment, it was felt that putting it as a raffle prize was, perhaps, not the best way to raise money.
O'Three have asked that the suit is auctioned, rather than raffled. This way, it will go to someone in need of a good drysuit. Someone could get an absolute bargain.
The auction will be by sealed bid. I'll look after all the bids until 10 January and the winner of the auction will be announced on the day. Each bid needs to be accompanied by a £2 entry fee (By cheque, payable to RNLI). The winner will pay the winning bid to the RNLI and will then be able tosort out their suit.
To enter the auction, complete the form which is downloadable from here
and send it to me at the address on the form.
Good luck!!
