| Thanks to everyone for the advice, it looks like Apex or Scubapro regs with a triple console. Mares Quatro fins, a mask that fits as well as possible and possibly a Buddy BC or something of a similar quality. Once again thanks for all your knowledge of gear. I will be back !!!!!!! |

Hid torch, Nikon D70 + UW housing + strobe, Uri's HUD, Second VR3, Hammer Head. Now I can either buy one of the big ones like the digi cam set up or a couple of the small ones, HUD and torch. The question is priority and when I'll have a nice pile of cash that just seemed to appear out of nowhere and therefore can be spirited away without doing any damage to the bank account. BTW I was looking at the Kowalski site the other day, they do a nice canister torch. Do you have any experience with them? Durability is a big concern and the GreenForce lines do seem to he well hard. Sorry for hi jacking the thread Tile diver but as you can see the wish list never ends likewise neither does the spending Dave.

| Dive Kit in Edinburgh Actually there are two dive shops in Edinburgh - Splashsports near the Corn Exchange and the Edinburgh Dive Centre near Fountainbridge. You also have Forth Yacht Marina in Grangemouth, and Don Lees who also does a roaring trade in and around Edinburgh. |

if you have the money, i would recommend getting a single SPG (£35) a dive timer (£65) and a compass (£30). This is more than a triple console (around £90), but a lot more future-proof. the dive timer especially will be a lot more useful than a depth gauge as it gives you digital depth reading, ascent rate warning, dive time, maximum depth and temperature, as well as keeping a record of your dives. in my opinion it is the best option for using with tables, and gives you a back-up once you start using a computer. here are links to the above on kent diving's website: http://www.kentdiving.co.uk/prod.asp?partno=A2.301 http://www.kentdiving.co.uk/prod.asp?partno=A5104 http://www.kentdiving.co.uk/prod.asp?partno=A6307 other good websites to look at are: http://www.sdswatersports.co.uk/ http://www.divingdirect.co.uk/ and, since they're in our good books now: http://www.deepbluedive.com cheers, kate |
