Still hoping to become Comfortably Numb but feel more Dazed & Confused.
Just spotted this - what a good link! I'll be passing that on to the newbies in our club. How are you progressing along the road to riches, Finless?

I think that link is a great one, I tell people about it if they're interested in different kit![]()

That is an oldy and a goody, I used this page about 4 years ago when I was looking at kit.
Its does have a slight techy slant to it though

Also the advise on 12 or 15L singles is very area/site dependent and certainly not the view we take, however if you are going to go techie its quite good, if not like most divers, its still well worth a browse
I have read the manifold section a couple of times in the past, and its very well put togetherDid not take the advise though

Really helpful site - thanks for posting.
personaly i find it based to much around the concept that the diver is going to progress to twins/deep deco diving quickly and its best to buy only the "top" of the range in everything to be ready for that instead of going down the route of what do i realy NEED now and in a year or 2 and then reassening after that point. forgetting totaly that agreat many divers decide that they are happy doing that they are doing and dont want to go further
it has several interesting points but is very biased in its portrail of choices.

yet it is supposed to be a Beginners guide not a entry level tech guide.
