PLUS by going to hyper compressed/crushed neo, you loose many of the advantages of a standard neo suit - abrasion resistance/inherent insulation

Just going to throw in a view fom a very happy diver with a membrane suit. I have an Oceanic Flexia (a very good deal at last years dive show) and I love it. I tried on a couple of neoprene suits and the lack of flexibility meant I really struggled to get out of them which I hated.
I have always been warm enough although I wouldn't be too keen on hanging around staying still at depth in a quarry right now and I do have a good undersuit. I love the flexia because they actually make an off the peg one which suits my height (on the tall side) and it is slightly flexible so it feels much less restrictive. The only thing I don't like is the 'welly' type boots which seem to have too much space for air to pool in them and I am having to use weight at the ankles to prevent myself ending up feet up (although I admit this is my first drysuit and I'm far from experienced in using it).
Anyway, I came here to ask for advice not start giving it out so I am going to shut up now
