I got the Delta4/FDX10/alpha 8 combo, with gauge (didn't pay that much thougt........shhhhh!). Fantastic regs, and the Apeks users in the club all agree there damn similar in breath. I like them enough to get an Oceanic CDX/GT combo for my pony. The service and warranty attracted me, the easy breath closed the deal.

Apeks are still very good though, but personally, I avoid Dacor, as too many people I know have had problems with them - might just be bad luck though.

I know I was done a bit, but I appreciated the advice - they spent 2.5 hours explaining every reg and it's benefits in the shop before buying, I guess I am also supporting my LDS to ensure it's survival.

Make sure you never let it go over a year between servicing as this invalidates the free servicing etc

if u can wait a bit

In the July issue of Diver Magazine will be a big Regulator test.
It comes out on 22nd July.
16 regs were tested at depth.
There are some very interesting results, so i would wait till then if u can.
I know coz i was there, however i cannot say results at moment coz i have signed a secrecy oath in blood!!!!

PS i do not get paid by them!!!
Wish i did
