NZ is on my itinerary, between cairns and fiji.

I'm going to try and stay away from the main island in Fiji and get out to the smaller ones. Not keen on sharks tho

Have you ever dived with sharks? Sharks are fantastic creatures to dive with - so sleek and majestic in the water. Very few sharks are dangerous unless provoked. Don't worry - just enjoy.

Well i'm back from the other side of the world! Did my referral on a liveaboard at Michalmass Cay GBR. Saw some amazing stuff, including reef sharks, and hitched a ride on the back of a Green Turtle.

I did 5 dives in total, the first was pretty scary, i had only done confined water dives, so throwing myself into a choppy blue was rather scary. Even more scary when my weightbelt, and fin came off after being in the water for less then 5 mins (by myself too!)

The other dives consisted of doing skills and swimming around.

I was abit annoyed that i couldn't dive in Fiji due to a head cold, but snorkelling was ace (manta rays, fringing reefs etc).

Going to do my O/W advanced in Scotland soon hopefully (need money first). I think i will chose Fish awareness, U/W photography and propulsion diver options for O/W advanced.
