Question Repair Kits

Hello, I'm starting to put together some of my own dive kit and have got most of the kabboodle (Reg, suit, BCD, fins etc)

My Question would be what do people find useful to carry round as a "box of tricks" for on site running repairs and spares.

Am thinking along the lines of:

Allan Keys (various)
Pliers
Adjustable spanner (Is there a multitool that does this sort of thing)
Scissors

Duck Tape
Cable Ties
Aqua-sure or such and patches
Rubber Bands

DIN - A-clamp adapter
Cylinder valve insert
Spare reg mouth piece
Fin Straps
Webbing and possible a buckle or 2

Please feel free to let me know your thoughts

Mike

Personally I wouldn't bother with an adjustable spanner. I've not yet come across a good one.
Most of what you you will need to undo/tighten comes in one of two or three standard sizes. Get the right tool(s) for the job that way you don't end up chewing the corners of the nut.
Just my 2p FWIW.
Oh and a crowbar and hammer

Has anybody used the Beaver multitool? Seems like a good idea but none of my lLDSs seem to have them in stock. The sort of thing that normally I would want to have a play with first. Like what sizes ore the spanners and allen keys? I see that divingniknaks is stocking them so perhaps I should have some faith. I use APEKS so will it do the job? Many thanks.

as you have noticed everyone has a different idea of what to take in a spares kit .
I think you need to balance spares with space and weight as sometimes you have to pay extra for excess baggage.
Maybe your regular buddies are carting the same things around so everyone is already covered , common sense is needed, time, location can be a factor as well.
Think about it no need to struggle wih 15 kilos of spares every time one heads out to a dive site.

If you have a drysuit with latex seals carry a spare one (very light not much space Gez..)

You can tape it on with gaffer tape to save getting too wet......
