Regs and BCD's

I am in a similar position in that I dive on holiday but may take up UK diving in the future. I wish to get my own kit as the hire stuff is usualy bu66ered, on my last dive in a confined wreck with no room to get vertical the shoulder dump would not operate and the kidney dump toggle came off in my hand. The Regs were the wettest breath I have ever had.

So its off to my local dive shop for some advise and get kitted up before I go an hols again

Whilst I'm all for supporting the LDS be wary of the ones that only ever push one particular brand - you are likely to end up with what they wanted to sell rather than what you wanted to buy.

Talk to as many divers as you can (this forum is a great place for that), try as much different kit as you can and then talk to your LDS to see what they say and what they can do for you.

deeptecdiver saw the sea in a book once
stuff for sale

well matey,

i happen to be selling my recreational dive gear which will suit for all types of diving and i think in particular you.....

from what i read, as you hire on hols! the items up for grabs will be.....

cressi s109 bc medium and cressi airplus octo and reg with cold water upgrade (so you can UK dive whem you wish as i also put on a apeks drysuit inflator hose!!!)

i'm only selling these as i'm now off into techie diving and need the cash to purchase some more goodies!!!

they have done maybe about 125 dives, all in the red sea! and four dives in the U.K, hence well looked after and hardly no colourfade from being left in the sun! they have served me well without problems, i converted the first stage to din fitting at i prefer them as you do, but i'll try and find the yoke if you wish!!!!

i'm asking around £300 FOR THE LOT! they are in good nick! and will have the regs serviced before i sell!

i wish i had that option when i bought them!

if you can see from my avatar, its what i'm wearing and that was my last dive at tiran reef (woodhouse i think?) last june!

miles
