There is stuff there he doesn't need and I don't agree with Roger I wouldn't dive with a second hand reg without getting it serviced so there is possibly alot of additional expenditure here.
Fiona....totally agree with you regarding the reg.

As for the seals £45.60......Hammond Drysuits (they repair others) I had my done last month.......admittedly if you're not local you'll have to pay the postage which will take it up to £62 (I'm fortunate my parents don't live too far away). Chris is a top bloke. Really friendly and 100% reliable....turnaround time is great too.

If the suit is a good fit then I'd still recommend he get it as the cost of a decent 2nd hand suit could still top £250 easily.

Thanks for all the replies folks apparently the drysuit isn't up to much but everything else is top notch one bonus to me is i get all i need for now for alot less money than i'd spend in a dive shop and it's not a great deal of money considering everything included. I do have a bad reputation of picking only the best and almost always the most expensive when shopping which after reading the posts on here could end up costing me quite a bit once i realise what i like dislike and having to buy more kit. The club uses commando stabs and apeks regs so they'll be familiar at least. I am a bit torn though as i'd like to buy all the kit brand new pick out what i like etc but without experience i could make some expensive mistakes

Frankly then I wouldn't give him £450 for it, but ask himm to split it, you only need the regs, BC, weights and Cylinder.

I would offer him about £350 - £380

50 dives!!!!! I think that you're being a little cautious. Or is it me being reckless?

Time to dive.

Bugger he'd got the stab jacket size wrong and it didnt fit plus he didnt really want to split it ie regs and cyl so i'm gonna have to look round a bit more. Gutted convinced myself that it was a good price and i'd be all set up ready to go. I'm going to try my LDS on saturday see what sizes fit etc then look on here and ebay
