| Well had a good day, 40 mins ( had plenty of air left so curious why we came in but enjoyed it) Gear wise im only slightly better off. Semi dry suit, Beaver Icelandic = Loved it so thats sorted. Bcd tiguillo of some sorts, seemed to be ok but didnt get model. Regs, Scubapro not sure which model but when i looked up my air was virtually cut off, NOT IMPRESSED AT ALL, in fairness martin said that he would never consider recommending or selling them to anyone as im pretty sure he said it wasnt balanced, he did again recommend APEX and SCUBAPRO (mk25 scubapro he says is fantastic) so again im back to APEX SCUBAPRO conundrum. Definately want to get my own gear before summer ends, and id love to give LDS my business so i hope when i decide that they are competitive. for some of the following Beaver Icelandic semi dry. APEX TX 40 or 50 or 100 ( maybe XTX ) or SCUBAPRO MK25 + S555 anyway had a good day and hopefully can get started on buyin my gear sooner rather than later. |

| OK settled, got a good deal as far i can see at LDS settled for Scubapro Scotia, Scubapro mk25/s555, and a Tiguillo Seaborn bcd my wife is getting the same apart from the semidry she is stuck between scotia/icelandic and possibly scubapro everflex steamer with 5mm steamer shorty ontop. she tends to feel the cold alot more than me, actually its rare i feel the cold. if anyone could give me opinions on these 3 before tomorrow when we finalise order id be very grateful. |

You can pick up cheap drysuits, I'd do it now rather than waste money now and then by the dry suit later. Danny |

| dont want a dry suit danny. will not be diving in the winter. |

| Beaver Icelandic is what our club buy every year. Great suit you can dive all year round. Gets very chilly in colder weather between dives, though. Fine in the water at just about any temperature. Don't get the one with the integral hood. Get the Ultra version.

Anyone for an air computer? (j/k) Danny |

| i can guarantee my wife will not use a dry suit, as she wil only go in the summer ( which we've done already and found semis perfectly acceptable) and abroad , which weve done also. just because you deem a drysuit the correct item doesnt mean others do or that they are stupid,or a mug !!! so keep your smart arsed comments to your self. |
