| I'll defer to others on the merits of the specific ebay regs, but I've noticed that regs and diving stuff generally are quite expensive on ebay and rather poor value - and this is speaking as someone who's bought loads of other via ebay. You can buy brand new Apeks TX40 reg for perhaps £125, or £200 with octo, and a bit extra for a nice brass guage off niknaks and there you go. This is cheap, but very-well regarded cold-water reg made in UK. A 2nd hand set has got to be pretty cheap to compete, especially if you are going to get it serviced, which you should (perhaps £40 or so). Buying new, you can get choice of DIN (advisable) rather than A-clamp, and don't end up with a console and other crap either (last point arguable, but a majority view here I suspect). Hywel |

| Buyer beware ,someone has stated that there are no bad regs for sale i have to disagree as a certain ebay dive equipment supplier is selling regulators that are not CE approved, i am not even sure this is legal so if you buy a brand that you have not heard or seen before ask if it has a CE certificate which means its approved for sale within the EU
