IMHO its always better to try to improve consumption than buy big tanks, however you seem to be Ok at the minute anyway. If you are happy that your consumption rates are the same you have your answer. Chris

| If you buy 2x12L tall, you always have the option of twinning up later, if that is what you want. Some folks recommend Beaver tanks as they are just that bit longer, and better suited for twinning. Two odd ball sizes won't allow this. Jim. |

| Is it worth getting a twin-set from the start and separating them so each person can have a single? I've seen a number of twin-set deals that appear good value as they include the twin tanks, the bands and the manifold. The bands and the manifold could then be put away for later. Does this sound like a good idea or is it more complicated than this? Will this work in practice or will it mean that the separated tanks won't have the right valves, etc....? Sorry to ask such a dumb-ass question. |

| I believe the only issue with that is the blanking plugs would be required and would effectively be a potential failure point.....not one I'd worry about though. Oh and the fact you would have one right handed and one left handed cylinder. I don't think its worth it really, if you can get a matched pair of 12s for £200, you can always buy the bands and manifolds later and you'll end up havingspent about the same prices as a twins set without having to spend extra up front.
