| 12L long sounds good to me. About £100 at the moment per cyl.

| I rather like my 12l dumpy. And a 10l for shallower shore dives is easier to use scrabbling over entry points (especially if you are good on air).

| I'd go for 12l long. Dumpy ones are fine but some BCs with two straps won't hold them. Like mine for instance.

| The dumpy cylinders tend to be preferred by people with a shorter frame, so that it's easier for them to standup/sit down with them on.... they are heavier though (not sure why, something to do with the cylinder wall during construction...) my vote is for tall 12L also |
