buying kit in Paris
This internet is a funny thing.

I met this Girl online, never met her but I have convinced her to take up diving.
she has just done the first half ( pool bits ) of open water in Paris and booked the second half in Thailand Ko Lanta.

She is now asking about buying kit are Apex avalible in paris should I recomend something else. I want to tell her to buy a wing and plate but think a more nomal bcd would suit this girl. what is that jacket wing thing call with integral weights.

A nice set of scubapro regs, I'd go for.

e.g. MK25/S600 if you're feeling flush

As for BP/wing, dunno. I bought a Scubapro Glide 2000 a year ago on the basis that I'd certainly not be diving twins for the next few years. Here I am with twin 12s, an OMS wing, BP + harness. And the Glide is stuck on the shelf

There is a dive store here:

It's full of all manner of stuff, including about 200 different types of speargun as I recall. They had Apeks regs, as well as other really weird looking artefacts that just don't seem for sale in this country.

Then, take her for a reaalllllly good japanese meal at the place down the bottom of Rue Dante.
