Having seen just about everything - heard all the stories and owned both Otter and Dui suits - I would say bang for yer buck a Protec MTM suit is an excellent choice. They are made like a DUI TLS350 so they give you superb freedom of movement and the aftersales service which is vital appears to be really exceptional. A TLS is a better suit but they're crazy money and the aftersales is shit. HTH

If you want a Membrane suit then Protec is the currently most recommended suit on these boards.
If you want a neoprene suit, the O3 are currently the most recommended, but are expensive. Best alternative (and IMO best suit by a mile) is the Outer Edge drysuit by Sports Components.

Great advis=ce though I do use the hunter rubber suit and it"s too shiney, I look like something out of a fettish show. Although it fis lengthwise I'm a skinney git so I could apack 2 or three of me inside, its good warm and comfy. The reason I started thids was to get some advice for future suits and for my wife who is considering tgetting a dry suit for the first time.

I am currently in the market for a new suit and have been very impressed by Protec suits. Really just looking for a reason not to get one now. Speaking of which:

Depends who you buy from, I guess I have had nothing but great aftersales from the DUI team at Hydrotech.

I am intrigued as to why the TLS is a better suit (apart from the badge and the fact that it costs a grand more)
cheers
