Money no object... what is the 'Dream Kit' you would buy?

Okay... there's always the hypothetical situations banded around about football, where who would be in your perfect team!

Well... what would be your perfect kit, if money wasn't an object, and you could/had the training to use it!

Mine, I think, would be rebreathers... probably closed, and trimix, thus extending every single boundary there is! Suit would be an Otter, I purposefully have stuck to these for years and find them simply superb - oh, and neoprene too, can't seem to get the hang of diving in a bag . Fins, etc, I'm probably not that up on... and I don't believe it makes too much difference (or does it?) afterall one kick is as good as another!

Well I like my kit.
But then it does all the diving I want to do and more.
I really ought to fix my compressor but that's just time, I have all the bits.

What I really want is more free time to go diving.

For OC I'm pretty happy with what I've got:

Twin Faber 12s with Agir manifold & bands
Twin 15s with Agir manifold & bands
Scubapro Mk25 primary 1st stage with S600 2nd stage
Scubapro Mk20 secondary 1st stage with R380 backup 2nd stage
1 Ali80 stage
1 Ali7 stage
2 Mk20 stage regs, one with S600 the other with a G500
Halcyon Explorer 40lb wing with 3mm stainless backplate
Salvo 9Ah 18W HID torch
DUI CLX450 drysuit with Rock boots
DUI 300g Thinsulate
Scubapro Jetfins, blah, blah.....

Upgrading the regs to the latest Mk25s would be nice but unnecessary.

Now a gas blending rig for the garage.......

Oooh...Good one.

Hmmm...I think a Meg with the new Apecs 3 head. Dui Drysuit. Solus SU-1000. C4 colour VR3s (yes - plural - you're bound to need 2!!). And a Range Rover to cart it all about!

A blending statiion at home would be nice!

I think Id like a DiveX Stealth Rebreather if they'd give me one!! A VR3 would be nice also. Hot Water suit and a nice big hard boat to dive off of.

Just me tho..

How queer, I like what I have got. BUT....................

A very expensive torch would be nice if money was no object.

Oo I know, one of those heated vest thingies.

'Money no object', eh?

Here goes:

For one, I'd stay OC.

O'three ri2/100 drysuit
OMS Double bladder wing & harness
Twin 12's
I'd probably go back to Xstream regs x2
Weezle Extreme
GF F2 with Impact Head and umbilical
2x7ltr Stage
Force Fins
Dive Timer
Suunto something, D6 or Vytec

Most of the above I have anyway, the regs, wing and torch are the only things I'd really change.

Its a tough question. A Meg or a Boris would be ideal. But one of those 1ATM suits would be nice. You could dive pretty much anything with that and no deco. Just that you can't touch...

Anyway I don't care I've just won an old Apeks DS4 off ebay
