Fins??

Am looking for a set of fins for size 5 shoes - what size does that equate to?
Does that change with each make? Does that change also with full foot fins or
ones with strap? Please forgive my ignorance.....

I am also a size 5 show but I think it would be best if you went to your LDS and tried a few sizes and makes on. They vary alot. My old Cressi's are a medium and I take an XL Jetfin.

Yes I agree with Fiona. There is a big discrepancy between manufacturers.

What I have found is that the slipper fins can be a smaller size. The open water fins depend greatly upon whether or not your drysuit has the thinner boots or the much bulkier, neoprene lined versions.

My shoe size is 4's and I have a small slipper fin but a large fitting in Force Fins.

Try some out is my advice too.

Cheers

Lyv

thanks guys - had to go up to London yesterday so stopped off in
Chiswick at the Mike's shop - and got a pair of Mares for my pool work.
Very comfortable and very reasonable :-)
