jetstream octo holder and hose setup

Hi,

i have a set of Poseidon Jetstreams and was wondering about the best way to attach the octo to my BCD. all of the other regs i have used with a scubapro octo holder clip thingy which i really liked. the trouble with poseidons is the mouth piece is much bigger and none of the clips i have tried fit.

anyone got a handy hint ?

also the set doesnt have hose protectors and the scubapro ones i have look like they will be a bit tight due to the spacing of the ports and thickness of the plastic. is there a good set someone can recommend ? the mares set i used to have were utter pish and always slid down the hose.

thanks in advance

D

Octoquick

you could try the Octoquick from lub -bros (or similar).

I've not used one, but I'm looking at replacing my octoguard with this as the octoguard is bloody fiddly at the best of times.

Velcro/clip attachments work just fine with the Jetstream Octo. Remember to place it somewhere where you can access and release it quickly. I learned from making that mistake the hard way.
As for hose protecters i run my Jetstreams without them on the basis that i can see all the hose and it means any defect can be seen which it can't under a protecter
