Agree with Yazz and Buoyant Babe about the wings. Have my BCD just over a year, but now thinking of going for a wing. In hindsight should have bought a wing. But never thought I would be diving in the uk. Want twins for the safety bit and plan to do advanced nitrox and deco, so need a wing.

Regardless sounds like a wing could be a good shout for a number of reasons.
Worth considering, plus correct me if i am wrong but not all LDS stock wings so will perhaps steer you towards a BCD.

Well either way enjoy your shopping trip and better still your diving.

i don't think i'd ever get in the water in a jacket BCD again.

try both before you buy, but i reckon you'll find a correctly set up wing much more stable and comfortable (and it's infinitely adaptable while a jacket BCD ain't).

I have the RoHo duratec and thermocline suit. 4 years old now and going strong, well actually it's had several repairs but all down to fair wear and tear. Make sure you speak to Sally some of the other staff are less knowledgable when it comes to fitting.

Personally I have found RoHo to be generally quite expensive, so only use them for the suits. SDS (Sheffield) is actually more local to us but also generally more competitive on price, also in the Leeds area you have Divers Warehouse. That said it's ages since I bought my kit so I can't really comment on the price you quote.

As someone else said just beware with buying sets that you actually get what you want. It may be great kit but does the BCD fit you? As for gloves they may be a simple piece of kit, but I had a nightmare finding a model which fitted (actullay they were from RoHo).
