my hose is too long

my BCD conector hose is far too long, so when it is attached, it pops up really high of my shoulder... it dosent really affect my diving, just its really starting to annoy me.

can you buy smaller ones or are they all one size?

you can buy shorter ones. Just make sure it has the right attachment. Some are subtley different

probably about £20 i reckon. Maybe a bit more in a dive shop. Not sure wheres best to get them from but im sure someone on here will know

you can buy the ap valves low pressure hose and adjust it to your perfect length your self

If you've got a Buddy jacket this will work fine but if you don't have a Buddy Jacket then the inflator end of the hose may well not work with the 'industry standard' type of connector.

Fortunately the ap valves hose end (the bit that screws into the first stage) is universal and you can cut any lp hose to the desired length and finish it off with the ap fitting. I think the fittings are available on their own so you don't need to buy the whole ap hose.

I had the same problem wth my Apeks wing, got a new hose yesterday was £25, a bit steep I thought but isn't all dive kit!!
