| 2 out of 3 'aint bad. Can't really give an opinion on the Light Cannon as I haven't used one. For your feet, I managed for years just wearing thick walking socks. Maybe because I'm getting older, but this last year I started to feel the cold in my feet more. I got myself some Thinsulate socks (mine are from Beaver, but there's loads on the market) and they're doing a grand job. They're not expensive and seem well worth the investment. We discussed integral weights a short while ago, but it may have been lost in the Great Crash. I've always used them (because of a bad back) both with a BCD and wetsuit and with a wing and drysuit. I'm considering changing to a shot belt and harness, but only because of problems with trim at the surface which really isn't a big deal. I don't see any reason why you should change just because you're taking up diving in a dry suit. But bear in mind, you'll be carrying a fair bit of extra lead so kitting-up will need a bit of thought. I usually install my weights once my rig is already on my back otherwise it's quite heavy and awkward to get on. The only other consideration is the possibility of having to remove your rig underwater (say to get through a narrow restriction in a wreck). Not a major issue, as I've never done it, but with integrated weights you have to remember that you're losing all your weight when you take your kit off and unless you're very careful you'll be shooting to the surface and leaving your gear behind! Not good.

| Blanaid (Divegyrl) bought a light cannon last week, we used it on 2 50m dives at the weekend and it was excellent. I can wholly recommend it! Juz

| Yes, the Light Cannon is a brilliant torch for the money. The only problem I have with mine is that I seem to attaract half the divers on the wreck (in low vis) as they think its their buddies torch as its so bright!
