Dear Boys

I added a thread this morning in Surface Interval, for general dive-related chit-chat which I thought was the appropriate place or so I thought.

I have just looked in "Surface Interval" to see if there any more replies and couldn't find it, I have located it in Equipment but it is now tucked out of the way. I understand you want to keep things tidy but it isn't even 1 day old and as lots of people have pointed out the Equipment section is now very confusing.

Sorry just an opinion.

It seems that we are going to have to "like it or lump it" with regards to these changes. The decisions have been made and comments don't really seem to be wanted.

If comments were'nt wanted then you'd find a lot more threads being deleted and edited Adrian. That is not the case AT ALL.

I didn't move the thread Fiona but I can see why it was moved. There is a distinction between 'dive related chit chat' and questions directly regarding equipment. Your question on dive computers has an obvious home. It is in the equipment forum, in the dive computer section.

Andy don't really mind who moved it but it was actually about InfraRed adapters. I probably won't have anymore responses now it has been moved to equipment.

It might be nice for the originator to be PMed when their posts are moved.

I use the 'New Posts' functionality to see what is going on in the forums. The reorganisation hasn't affected me (I know I haven't really been around long enough to get used to either system) because I don't have to check multiple locations for new posts. The only time I truely encounter the new system is when I when to start a fresh post.

Fiona, I have moved it back to surface interval and now redirected anyone to the correct forum. This means it can be currently seen in two places. I will remove the redirect in the next couple of days. The answer you wanted has already been posted, and the post does indeed refer to the Aladin Smart Pro which is a dive computer question IMO.
