I have been having a similar problem. Happens with both Firefox and IE. QUOTE appearing all over the place.

Go to the options in your UserCP - then scroll to the bottom. Change your WYSIWYG editor to advanced. You should now have smilies in your post box.

Apart from that, the only thing I can think is that you have images disabled in your browser and it is resorting to showing the vb script instead.

Question Inserting Pictures, HTML/URL Links into posts & Naming them
How do I drop HTML into a post?
Example, I want to put a clickable link into the message body such as CLICK HERE and then it plays a sound file etc from my site.

Or can't I?

take out/remove ALL the spaces from these examples then follow the formula:

[u r l = http : //w w w.w h a t e v e r.c o m/t o o n .w a v ] TITLE OF LINK YOU ARE INSERTING [/u r l ]

and to insert a picture, substitute img instead of url

Unhappy Pictures
I've got my Malta dive report on CD, complete with photos. How do I get the photos on the post? When I do the attachement, it will attach the text, but not the pictures. I've seen other people put pictures in their posts, so what am I doing wrong? Dive safely.
