Question Inserting Pictures, HTML/URL Links into posts & Naming them
I have a photo' of cute little me sitting in Adobe. The question is' How do I put this into either (a) My profile bit or (b) My Avatar or preferably © Both. I've tried several times but can't get it on.   If we have an all singing, all dancing, shiny new forum I'd be as well to find out.

You need to upload your file to a web server (you will probably have some free web space with your Internet Service Provider). MAXIMUM size is 25k and maximum display size is 64 x 64 pixels.

Once uploaded, you can paste the image's URL address into your PROFILE / AVATAR section and it should now be working!

Thanks, I tried to start a site just now and it's coming up with cannot find server or DNS error. I'll keep trying.

Can any one tell me how to post pictures on the foru, Please.
I treid by putting the reply and the picture in word, then cut and paste. The text was transfered - no sweat but the pictures never made it. They are in jpg form.

Below the "box" in which you cut and pasted your message is a another white box with a "browse" button to its right. You type the path to your picture file OR use the browse facility.

The maximum file size allowed is shown to the left (abt 30,700 bytes from memory) make sure your JPG file is the right size.
