Not the wisest strategy I've heard, red blobbing will only result in a tit-for-tat retaliation and if the recipient has a higher rep count than the blobber, the blobber will come off worst.

Oh, I did not realise that, so someone with higher rep carries more weight when it comes to blobbing ?
I thought strength of blobs was just normal poster vs new poster (grey blobs).
