Can't we just all resolve that every day we log on and whoever's name comes up first on the members online list is who's going to get the arse ripped out of them? That's how I do it

Ism it hot outside!

What's going on. I go off for a week's diving in the Scilly Isles and come back to see my favourite group of get alongs taking bites out of each other. It seems the most popular threads this week have been, DIRism, Sensitivism, Bantinism, BSACism, SAAism, Sexism, Moderatorism, smilyism and I am sure there are one or two I have missed. Now I don't expect 2000 people in a room to always get along together, but the change is pretty marked. Something un-natural is going on.

This is a serious business. Without the opportunity to waste my time discussing diving on YD I will have no option but to get on with some work. Please don't cause me to take such drastic measures.

I can only put it down to the inclement heat. Too much sunbathing is not good for a diver. Consider the affect all that time underwater, fettling with kit in the garage and sitting in air conditioned offices typing posts, has on your body. We simply can not expect to instantly adjust to 30 degree heat and 14 hours of sunlight a day.

So please can we make an effort to go diving this weekend and cool down those heated heads. In the interrim, should you find yourself tempted to offend a group of YDers for no apparent reason, try the following emergency counter measure; fit a snorkel, place your head in the loo and flush.
