Question Blissful ignorance: Your Buddy and Ignore List
If one is on someones "ignore list" can the ignored tell that the ignoree is ignoring them?

To put it another way, what happens if I try to reply to a post by someone who has me on their ignore list? Can I tell I am being ignored or is part of the punishment for falling foul of someones displeasure to continually reply and never to be read? Woe is me!

No, the person being ignored can not tell if they are being ignored, or by whom or how many.

You can reply all you like: the person ignoring you just sees a line (your posted response) with your name in it with a date and time next to it, in between other folks' posts, nothing else, no post content or text at all.

It's the same if you have been put on someone's Buddy List, you'd never know that either, unless they told you you were on it.
