Top Scuba Sites
Some of you will, by now, have noticed a new icon on our front page from Top Scuba Sites - we are currently ranked number 1 after only a couple of days!! The ranking is based on unique hits and resets every 24 hours.

Advertisers please note, you can use their site to view YD stats (e.g. how many visitors we get on a daily basis and, more importantly, how many are unique visitors (i.e. not multiple visits by the same person). Now you have an idea of the number of unique visits our front page gets daily.

Nice to be number one!! Well done all

Although I think YD being numbr 1 is absolutely fab.

I have just been and had a look and you have to register your site so I noticed sites like BSAC and Divernet aren't on the list and Dive - Travel is about number 5, really can't imagine DT get more hits than either BSAC or DiverNet.

Does that mean to keep stats up we have to come in via the front door? or does going straight to the forums still register?

It uses a .php tracker on their site - on each visit a counter is sent to their site and added to your total.

Phill, it only counts visits to the page the logo is on - if people bookmark pages where no icon is, it won't count.

We could have a laugh and massacre the results by putting the icon on our forum pages rather than the front page
