piccy resize

I have some pictures that are in a folder in "my Documents on my computer ,taken by me with a digi camera ,transfered from camera directly to the folder .I have no photo editing programs that I can find in my program list .
The problem is that I want to post pictures of a couple of items to sell but the images are to big 436kb to upload .
So HELP please

Hi Colin

You can use PAINT to resize piccies. In windows, double click on the picture to open it in "Picture & Fax Viewer" then click CTRL+E to open Paint. Click IMAGE, STRETCH & SKEW then change Horizontal and Vertical to 25% then save....should do the trick.

Its a bit fiddly as you have to keep saving it, and then editing the one you saved, but its free and makes resizing easy. I just cut the bit I want out of the original using Paint, and then edit the sizing of that on the resize2mail website.
