| If you have a look and search the forums under "Trefor Pier" theres a few threads with some background info. Looks like a High water dive not sure about the nearest place for a fill maybe vivian? Theres a link here SubAqua UK - Air/Gas Fills - Gwynedd giving details of possible places for air but I can't vouch for how current it is.

| It's been very windy in North Wales and there has been a lot of runoff so I don't know what the viz will be like over there. [Different bit of coast to me] Chris Holden lists a few places in his book, most of them only seem to do fills if you phone first but a call to them might let you know what the viz is like as well. In the order they appear in the book:- LLyn Diving, Llanbedrog. [Alan Gray] 01758 740899 M. 07815 717241 Marine Electronics, Abersoch [Richard Bufton] 01758 712845 M. 07775 777222 The Dive Inn, Penrallt, Tudweilog. 01758 770654 Penrallt Divers, Nr. Porth Ysgaden. 01758 770246 Hope this helps.

| Viz not good at the moment. Viz on the north Llyn coast at the moment isn't good about 2-3m, can't vouch for Trefor, but I doubt if will be any better. There is a dive shop at Y Ffor (Four Crosses) which is about 3-4 miles further towards Pwllheli, their opening times are 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. Monday to Saturday (Closed on Tuesdays) 8 a.m. 1 p.m. on Sundays tel no 01766 819190 Thay can supply you with air. I hope this helps. |

| Tide Tables See here for tide times. BBC - Weather Centre - Coast and Sea - Tides Trefor - 27/05/2006 Best time to dive is at high water, but beware that the site can get busy therefore I suggest that you go in slightly before. |
