Hi, i just fininshed my Advanced Open water course today. Does anyone knows where i can download the open water or Adventure manual in pdf version?

Not available I'm afraid, copyright makes it a non starter. Someone might have scanned it to PDF (no, not me before I get PM's) but if they have they would be pretty stupid to advertise it on an open forum.

There are (I think) CD-ROM's of the course available from your nearest PADI shop.

Weren't the manuals needed as part of the course?

There are knowledge reviews which need to be completed, and each student is supposed to have thier own copy of the appropriate manuals to keep for future reference!

oooops!!

That'll be an issue then, it may be a violation of the copyright. PADI come down pretty heavily on that, basically, because if every dive centre photocopied the reviews and students borrowed manuals off each other, that would be a huge income loss.

Also, if there was ever an incident, and a court or whatever investigated the certifying instructor, s/he has not adhered to PADI standards and would possibly lose whatever protection or support PADI would give to an instructor who was being sued but did follow standards.
