| Capenwray visibility? me and mrs gunner are due to do our open water at capenwray early september. What sort of visability can we expect? I appreciate that it is 6 weeks away but makes good/bad visabilty? Does rain help or hinder? does sunshine cause algae growth and reduce visability? or is more to do with geology of the area? Thanks |

| Everyones got to learn somewhere. I sure the viz will not be to bad, good luck, and safe diving. |

| Viz will be fine, the trainning area can get a bit cloudy later in the day, more so on saturdays then sundays ive found. But is nothing to panic over and indeed is a good experience to get in early so that it isnt a shock in later dives. Really is nothing to stress over, worry more about the fish getting in the way, bloody ugly things the lot of them |

| If its any help, todayit was around 7.5 degrees with pretty good vis of 10-15 metres. Chris

| Hi, Vis won't be a problem for you - I was worried about this when I made my first dives in the UK. Just get in there and enjoy!!!! Oh and don't forget to get a fishfondle in while you're there!!!!

| Absolute quality pictures johnny boy As for fish fondleing a little trick i used to have with new buddies in our group as long as there where not complete newbies was to get some fish pellets place them in a persil washing tablet bag and while the buddie is kitting up make the excuss to check his cylinder/ hose at the rear and tie it to the handle of his cylinder. Its amazing how many buddies have come out and said ho many fish followed us around while diving ![]() Asl ong as the other members of the party know about the scam it deos get a titter when they de kit and find the bag attached to ther reg. ![]()
