Question How much Nitrogen?

In metres/feet of pressure, how much nitrogen would the 5, 10, 20, and 60 minute halftime compartments each have aftre 60 minutes at 18 metres/60 feet?

This sounds too much like an exam question.

You remember what a half time is?
Well the 60 minute compartment has had one, the 20 minute has had three etc.
So you know what the nitrogen was on the surface, 0.79bar.
You know where it's going to at 18 meters, abs pressure times 0.79.
So the 60 minute one covered half the gap, the 20 minute one covered seven eighths etc.

Now you have the answer in nice simple bar you can tell me why you put this question in the FAQ forum.

Im stuck in my dive master training manual, not the greatest when it comes to physics.

Thats stright out the knowledge workbook. I've not done the deco theory exam yet did the Physics one sunday and passed that so 1 down 8 to go, the physics one is hard!

You can pick up TDI manuals scanned on the net. Short, sweet and very very good. Should help all.

It may actually be worth buying a few books....please refer to posts here..do a search.
